Our business is built on deep partnerships with our staff, franchisees, landlords and suppliers that are more than contractual. They are rooted in the understanding that all stakeholders need to be heard and benefit from the process to truly buy into our Fournews vision.
Fournews is about innovation and creating real experiences. This can be seen in carefully thought out meals that are eaten, cocktails and coffees that are enjoyed or design that is experienced in any of our stores.
We want our guests to enjoy more than just a meal, we want them to walk away with a memory of an unforgettable experience that was time well spent.
CREATING A CRAVEABLE CULTURE
The strength of Fournews lies in its staff, the workers that bring our brands to life. Our team is the best that money can buy, with loyal members that have been with the company since the first News Cafe opened its doors in Hatfield over 20 years ago. Our staff understand that getting it right is worth the trouble and that doing the hard things well will build brand reputations that will survive the toughest of times.
We have created a loyal culture within the company by getting teams involved in the bigger picture, rewarding them for jobs well done but mostly by remaining socially and emotionally connected to each individual. This approach allows for a motivated, focused team who remain committed to their brands.
Fournews is headed by 4 Directors, each with extensive individual experience and expertise in the food and beverage industry.
Our dynamic leaders draw inspiration from the latest international trends and success stories and introduce them to the local market. For 20 years now, the Directors regularly make exploratory journeys to investigate the international market drift in food, drink, entertainment and design.
The concepts are adapted and introduced to the Africa market through our group’s varied portfolio of brands.
