Corporate Social Responsibility

At Fournews Developments we've always been committed to taking an interest and contributing to worthy causes.

For several years News Cafe has hosted an annual charity ball, which has now evolved into an annual event called "The Vibe Goes Greek", which benefits various charities.

Some of our activities include donations to The Avril Elizabeth Home, which cares for disabled people in a loving and safe environment. We were also involved and donated quite a bit of money to Reach for a Dream Foundation a while back.

We were also recently approached by a Section 21 company, known as "Community Assisting Schools", which supports previous Model C schools that are battling financially. With our donation Highlands North Boys High School will have a brand new, and much-needed computer library.

We are proud of our ongoing involvement in projects and programs such as these. And we are also involved in uplifting and empowering local communities. All staff employed at HLM are taken from surrounding areas around the various units. We normally take unskilled workers, train them in various skills and place them in the casinos and hotels, thereby creating valuable job opportunities in the communities we operate in.
